Annual Ukulele Festival - Waikiki, Hawaii

When you are adhering your Hawaii vacation is there anything that brings the islands to living beings in favor of you more than the sound of the ukulele essence played? The Annual Ukulele Festival brings folks in company from all over the world to play and hark to the sounds emitted from this little set in a row writing.

The Festival is held annually in July through the free sum of two units sixty minutes concert that showcases the finest ukulele players, along with general celebrities, Hawaii’s top entertainers and a ukulele orchestra of more than 800 students (mostly children).

The ukulele arrived on the islands in 1879 and soon was the instrument of choice according to the islanders. The small, easily portable stringed musical instrument was just the furniture they loved. Coming in contrary sizes brings the difference of sounds from soprano, concert, tenor and baritone to period of life under the fingers of some proficient player.
